LOVE is the ONLY diet That Works
Besides being All-There-Is, studies have shone that Loving Your Body increases levels of production, fitness, intelligence and makes you see the perfect body you have.
The best part about this diet, this work exercise is that it's free and the only thing you need to change is the thoughts that run through your head every time you look at yourself.
It's more than just "I love myself. I love myself" but that definitely helps.
It's more of a- I like the way I feel right now. Standing in front of this mirror. I know I am loved and that the people who love me love my body. I love my body too and I deserve all the good things in life (money, a car, health insurance) so that I can take care of my body to the best of my abilities.
In this LOVE diet I didn't change the way I ate, I didn't change my work habit . Through this process of focusing on what I loved I discovered what really makes me happy. This lead to fulfilling jobs, and like magic I got a car for a good low price, insurance for an even lower price and an apartment all within the first month of starting this LOVE diet.
Another part of this diet is knowing that each part of your life is a microcosm to your Life. Like the idea that what you see on your plate is a representation of how you treat yourself. It's why dating works.
You have to acknowledge that your thoughts about your body are in accordance with the thoughts about your life.
You can have the fullest life and still feel empty if you do not satisfy the hunger of your body- which in this case is not food, but, love.
This diet does not encourage abstinence from anything nor overindulgence in anything. It comes with a healthy dose of questioning why and what you are putting what you are into your body. This diet is great for people who live on a fixed income so they have little to no say about the food which they can afford. With this diet you can go from eating out of necessity to Eating and Loving what you are putting into your body---and the food stays the same!
The odd thing about this diet is as far as I know I am the same lbs as before I started Loving Myself, but now I have a flat stomach, biceps, legs, a butt- you know all the gooood things. I'm not overly tone, but not like I was--- there I went again judging myself.. That's another thing about this diet it asks that you not judge yourself. Sure you are allowed to make comparisons but why dwell on how much you have changed when you can just relax into the reality of your great body?
Here's the paradox: Even if you think you are the least in shape, ugliest body in the world the first thing you do is Love Yourself and affirm that you love your body. Remember without your body you'd be dead.
NO matter What Shape your body is- It is You right now- whether you like it or not, and the world is a more diverse and rich place because of You.
You deserve to be exactly who you are and exactly who you want to be RIGHT NOW.
As with all exercise comes repetition. I say while being bored start to do "I love you"s to your body.
Example: You are waiting in line or at a stop light feeling bored or frustrated. Hold that thought and loo at your hands or your clothes. Admire ONE thing about them- just one- the way in which the clothes drape your body, the way in which you've always liked that freckle on your left thumb.
Then find another quality about you which you admire- like the fact that you CAN be Clothed, or that you have hands! OR How intricate those hands are!
Say thanks to your hands for being capable, or your clothes for keeping you warm and not embarrassed.
Once you have reached three things which you like about your body, keep going..it has the general tendency to steamroll into a rampage of Self Appreciation- which is the Diet of Love.
